The Workshop

The workshop was a "bonus" that came with the house. We went with the realtor to look at the house three times, and each time, the workshop was locked. There are windows on the side, but the dog kennel (with five dogs in it!) was also on that side. We heard barking coming from inside, so we figured it was some sort of thing "left to the dogs" (quite literally).

It wasn't until after we had moved in that we discovered what a jewel the workshop really is. The only thing we've had to do with it is add three fluorescent fixtures and a vent fan. It's 20' x 20', with a smooth concrete floor, and built-in cabinets. It's drywalled and insulated. It really is a gem. Some day, I'll add a few more outlets and solar heat. It will certainly be the envy of the neighborhood then.
