My Rosary by Judy Duet
Since the beginning of lent Mr. Cochennic has been trying to establish a gathering at his home and at the shrine (weather permitting) to say the Rosary on Thursday at 3:00 pm. Well, it hasn't been too successful. A few to none show up for the saying of the Rosary which is a shame because it is nice to get together to pray.

Well, on Thursday May 16, Mrs. Frances called me and said she couldn't make it because she had to babysit so I was the only one who showed up. Mr. Cochennic and I decided to say the Rosary outside since it was such a nice day.

While we were saying the second decade, I noticed that the chain on my Rosary had turned to gold. It was ordinarily a blackish color and it had turned a gold color. It was gleaming in the sun. The cross and the other piece were still the dark puter color but the chain was now gold. A strange feeling went through me. I kept staring at it. We said the third decade and at the end of it, I stopped Mr. Cochennic and showed him my rosary. He looked at it and said calmly, "It turned to gold. I knew something had happend." We went on with the Rosary and at the next decade he added a prayer and said he didn't know what it meant but we would be waiting to see what this sign meant. He wished that it would be an end to my suffering with neuropathy and arthritis. I don't know what it means, we will just have to wait and see. I know I feel blessed just to have it happen in my hands.
