        How to know Jesus

        Okay, you've been looking for real information about Jesus. You are ready to throw out that garbage you call a life and start all over.,/b> But, you aren't good enough for God to forgive you! GUESS WHAT? None of us are "good enough" for God. Everyone of us does wrong things! But because of the FREE gift Jesus has for us we can start all over again - get rid of the junk and start anew, living in the presence of GOD! Read these verses:
          Romans 3:10
          Romans 3:23
          Romans 6:23
          Romans 5:8-9
          Romans 10:9-13
          John 3:16-18
          Revelation 3:20 --- what's that?
        Is someone knocking at the door of your heart? YES! YES! It's Jesus! Why not say "yes" to Jesus Christ and gain eternal life through His free gift. He forgives us all and because of His shed blood. We can be forgiven, because He is the ultimate sacrifice for our wrong doing. He stepped into our place and died for our sins so we wouldn't have to experience the wrath of God! This is God's gift, to all who will be covered with the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus. You see, God demands payment for sinfulness. God's wrath will fall upon those who do not accept Christ as Savior and Lord. When we accept Jesus' gift then we will forever belong to God. If you think about how awful the worse thing you ever heard of has been, this is nothing compared to what God will do to those who deliberately turn their back on Christ, the giver of salvation and forgive- ness.

        There are but two roads to travel in life - one leads to a place of torment and misery because "YOU" chose to ignore the free gift of Christ. The other leads "home" to our place in heaven with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. I know, you may not like this plan but it is the one set in place by our Almighty God. We cannot change it and we cannot pretend it isn't there. Christ has come to offer "YOU" and "ME" an eternal home and the blessing of being in the presence of God. It's that simple! Just ask Christ to enter your heart and then start reading the Scriptures. Start at the book of John and discover the ways of God.

        Hey, I don't know about you but I'd rather be with God in glory than to live in torment for all eternity. Why spend eternity in a living the place of eternal fire and isolation from all that is good or beautiful?

        Well, that's what's going to happen to anyone who dies without believing in Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly says that. And, the Bible is true! It doesn't make any difference if you think it's not true...it's God's written message to "US" and we cannot change God's mind.

        I choose to live my life for Jesus Christ. With Christ there is eternal joy - without Him there is eternal misery and total seperation from all that is good! The choice is Yours! You can never say you have never heard the message of God explained to you because when you read this...you have! You can never pretend God doesn't exist, He does! You can never get out of the torment you are in without believing in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord...because He is! It's time for a change! Look to Jesus and ask Him to show you God's truth. .

        THOUGHTS TO SHARE We can never run away from God.

        God wants us to walk through life living focused on HIM!

        God sent Jesus Christ, His ONLY begotten Son, to teach us about God and show us how to believe in Him!

        The Lord knows the troubles and heartaches you have. He wants to show you the true meaning to life.

        There is no other way to heaven but through belief in Jesus Christ whom God sent as a living sacrifice for all of our sins and wrongful thoughts.

        We, who are Christian, can pray directly to God without having to check in with anyone else. God always hears our prayers because Jesus Christ "IS" the ultimate High Priest.

        God loves us no matter how "low down" or how "high tooten" we are or think we are.

        Christ can bring you out of that depth of depression and self-hate if you will only trust Him and give yourself to Him in all things that happen in your life.

        My commitment: Heavenly Father, I want to be more like Jesus. I give myself to you because of the gift that Jesus has offered me, forgiveness of all my sins and wrong doings. Thank you for your only begotten Son, Jesus, my Lord and my Savior. Amen.

        Now, remember, Christians aren't perfect and that is why we need Jesus and the Bible. God's Word stands on its on and in our heart every more. I urge you to get your hands on a Bible and start reading the book of John. Once you have read John just keep on reading. Ask God to show you what you need to know as you read. HE WILL!
