Tips for Sellers

1. Please post your first and last name in your saleslists.

2. Know the first AND last name of the other person and record it (as well as snail/email addy, phone #, etc.) on paper. This will save a lot of panic and confusion if something happens to your computer.

3. Ask for and check for references if you've never dealt with the person before now. The MHIBB has had up to 7 complaints on some people, and it never hurts to ask around.

4. Make the terms very clear to the buyer. Who will send what when and how and record it.

5. Let the buyer know when payment arrives.

6. Pack the model(s) in such a way that they will arrive on the buyer's doorstep in the exact condition expected. Do not rely on UPS/USPS to handle the package with care.

7. If you cannot or do not mail the model on the day you said you would, please please please notify the buyer! Let the buyer know when the model will be mailed.

8. If the deal goes well, reward the buyer with a praise to the MHIBB. :-) If it goes sour, and you are unable to work things out, let the MHIBB know the details in a complaint.
