1. Paul Henry¹ MORPHY was born in NY 1841.

He married Mary E. KNOTT in Fulton Co., IL, 23 MAR 1865. Mary was born in IL 16 FEB 1845. Mary was the daughter of Joseph Allen KNOTT and Sara Ann WHITE. Mary died 1 OCT 1921 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA, at 76 years of age.

Paul Henry MORPHY and Mary E. KNOTT had the following children:

2 i. Minnie Belle² MORPHY was born in Ellisville, Fulton, IL 24 SEP 1865. Minnie died 18 MAR 1933 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, at 67 years of age. She married twice. She married Edwin Suel BRYANT in Albion, Calhoun, MI, 4 JUL 1884. Edwin was born in Albion, Calhoun, MI 26 NOV 1859. Edwin died 13 JAN 1911 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, IA, at 51 years of age. (See Edwin Suel BRYANT for the continuation of this line.) She married Jack LYON in Ellisville, Fulton, IL, 17 JAN 1917. Jack was born in Ellisville, Fulton, IL 1861.

3 ii. Harriet MORPHY was born in Ellisville, Fulton, IL 1866.
