1. Noah¹ SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1800. Noah died 1851 at 51 years of age.

He married Mariah NEVITT in White Co., IL, 6 SEP 1823. Mariah was born in Nelson Co., KY 15 OCT 1805. Mariah was the daughter of William NEVITT and Mary Polly EDELIN. Mariah died 1844 in Waterford Twp., Fulton, IL, at 38 years of age.

Noah SHELBY and Mariah NEVITT had the following children:

2 i. William² SHELBY was born in White Co., IL 15 OCT 1828. William died 26 SEP 1902 at 73 years of age.

3 ii. Rebecca Emma SHELBY was born in Erie, Whiteside, IL 10 MAR 1830. Rebecca died 4 FEB 1919 at 88 years of age. She married Robert PRICHARD in Fulton Co., IL, 18 NOV 1854. Robert was born in Hopewell, Licking, OH 11 MAR 1831. Robert was the son of Jordan PRICHARD Esq. and Artemisia SHAW. (See Robert PRICHARD for the continuation of this line.)

4 iii. John C. SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1832.

5 iv. Asa W. SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1834. Asa died 9 JUN 1855 at 20 years of age.

6 v. Susan SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1836.

7 vi. Mary SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1838.

8 vii. Adam SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1839.

9 viii. James SHELBY was born in White Co., IL ABT 1840.

10 ix. Nancy SHELBY was born in White Co., IL 1841.

11 x. Joseph A. SHELBY was born in Fulton Co., IL 28 DEC 1843. Joseph died 29 OCT 1929 in Liverpool, Fulton, IL, at 85 years of age.
