Star Trek has been in our culture for over 30 years. In fact, the debut
episode came out in Sept 1966, a month before I was born. I've taken that to
be a good sign. Spawning 9 movies and 3 TV spin-offs, ST has become
an important part of our TV history. Its message of goodness and
righteous conquering the evil forces of our world (and others) heralds
a new era of futuristic ideals for our children. The shows are, at times,
gritty and forceful, comedic and entertaining, action-packed and thrilling,
and we've had a ball with them. Here is a more light-hearted approach to ST.
