Chris Abell
April 23, 1973 - June 11, 1997

Chris was 24 years old when he died in an automobile accident. His brother Joey died and his body was found on the same day as Chris died, 2 years earlier. Those who know Chris remember him as a loving man who had a zest for life and loved his family and friends.

Remember when you were young,
You shone like the sun...
Shine on you crazy diamond...
You reached for the secret too soon,
You cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night,
And exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond...
Nobody knows where you are,
How near or how far.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Pile on many more layers
And I'll be joining you there.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
And we'll bask in the shadow
Of yesterday's triumph,
And sail on the steel breeze.
Come on you boy child...
Shine on you crazy diamond...

Lyrics by Pink Floyd

You are listening to "The Great Gig in the Sky" by Pink Floyd

"And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do,
I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?
There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime."
Pink Floyd - 1973
