Justin Lee Hermann August 3, 1979 - October 31, 1998

Justin was 19 years old when he and four of his friends were killed in an auto accident on Halloween 1998. Also remembered are his friends who died with him: Jeff Laffin - age 18 Jason Gardner - age 19 Justin Ferge - age 19 Shaun Bussman - age 20 Justin is loved and remembered daily by his mother, Lori; his sister, Amber; and his girlfriend, Rhiannon.

 Lives Past 

Lives past hurt lies deep,
I try to forget them as I sleep.
But my dreams are troubled,
their memories still remain.
those who died that October day.
When I think of them my heart twists,
I can't forget their faces.
They haunt my mind,
if only I didn't think of them all of the time.
My love still remains for Justin,
but I don't want to feel the pain.
You say remember the good times,
there were no bad.
But their memories still crush my heart,
they will never part.
They will always be a part of me,
but it doesn't mean I won't cry,
every time I see something that reminds me they're gone.
I never will quite get over their losses,
but I push them to the back of my mind,
so I won't cry all the time.
Only it doesn't work cause I think of them now,
and still feel the pain.
I guess the memories should make you laugh,
and sometimes they do.
But I can never quite laugh all the way,
because I think, they aren't here today.
I wish the pain would go away,
but I've realized it never will.
It will lessen, but I will always cry,
when I think of the way that they had to die.
When the day of their deaths has reached a certain year,
I know the memories will still be here.
The memories will still be the same,
but maybe I can think of them without all this pain.
