When I was little my grandmother had made me a hat like this and remembered it when my girls were little and needed a spring hat. I remembered what it looked like so I went from there!! I loved these hats on them and they wore them no problem til they were about 4 then they were too hard for them to tie at school and now they say they're to 'babyish'!!!!lol

First thing I ever knitted other than forever scarf!! lol  I liked it so much on my guy that I pieced together all the notes I made while trying to make it and made one for new nephew!!! Think I'm getting the hang of knitting - maybe one day I will be able to follow a pattern!!! lol
