Wow! It's been a looooooooong time since I wrote here!
Many things have happened.
Some wonderful and some not so great.
Gran passed away last October, it was a difficult time
for us all. She was nothing like the woman we once knew.
Her illness took so much from her, and from us as well.
As much as we hated to lose her, sad to say, it was almost
a relief when she died.
It's really hard to watch someone you love wither away to
a shell of nothingness.
Relief is also found in the fact that she is no longer
suffering.
Wherever she is now, I know she is in peace.
On to brighter things......
We have several new members of the family!
Of course my dad is not very enthused about them *LOL*
Our first new member is Misty, she is a 4 year old Siamese
cat I brought home from the Humane Society.
She has quite an attitude, she can be quite loving, BUT
only when SHE wants to.
Misty tolerates her dog siblings, well all except for Peanut.
Peanut loves to tease Misty and ends up getting pounced on when
Misty can no longer put up with her.
Our next new family member is Clovis, a beautiful Grey Cockatiel
packed with personality plus!
His antics bring a lot of smiles and laughter.
He is also a bit of a clown, he will do anything for the
center stage spotlight.
Rainbowland is almost completed, I'm quite happy with the way
it is turning out :)
