Here are our three cats. Aren't they beautiful.

PeepsWow.. you'd think she was a model wouldn't you? Peeps is my cat. She won me over at our local animal shelter. The kids and I were there looking for a new cat, after our beloved Holly passed on to Kitty Heaven. Peeps totally won me over the day we met her. The kids wanted a different cat, but she was already spoken for. So I convinced them that Peeps was for us!

She came to live with us on the day before Easter, which also happened to be my birthday. She got the name Peeps because when she was little she was so white and soft, and she reminded me of those marshmellow candys that you get at Easter.. you know..Peeps!

She does some terribly funny things too. She loves to drink out of the bathroom faucet. Whenever I go near the stairs she thinks its time for a drink! She also loves to chase the flashlight beam around the house! As soon as she sees someone pick up the flashlight.. she's ready to play. She also loves to lay under the computer desk... right by your feet. She does move (a little bit) when my Hubby wants to play his racing car games, see he has a "foot pedal" which just happens to be right in Peeps' favorite spot.

Cougar This is Cougar. She is my Hubby's cat. She came to live with him when he was living in Hawaii. There was a terrible storm, (lots of rain etc.) when a knock came at his door. When he opened the door, there were some little children holding what looked almost like a rat. They explained that they had found this kitten in a ditch, and they couldn't keep it. So being the kind hearted person he is, he agreed to take her. She was very tiny, and had to be fed with an eyedropper.

Soon enuff, she began to grow. He gave her a name, but since this is a family page, I can't tell you what it was... tee hee. When my Hubby and I got back together, Cougar came to live here. She rode in her carrier all the way from South Carolina. She wasn't too pleased with the ride, so needless to say when she got here, she wasn't a happy camper. She would growl at everyone and everything. That's how she got her new name.. Cougar.. she sounded just like one!

Gizmo This is Gizmo. She is the youngest of the three. She was born on Memorial Day 1995. Her mom was our oldest daughter's cat. She belongs to our youngest daughter, Kristian. We got to see her for the first time about 2 weeks after she was born. She was so funny looking, we thought she kind of looked like a cow because of her black patches.
She is the quietest cat you'd ever see. She rarely ever meows or hisses. In fact she didnt even purr until she was a year old. I was kind of worried that perhaps there was something wrong.. that is till she meowed the first time. She had even managed to climb up on top of our entertainment center one day, and we didnt even notice. Her tail was hanging down and we shut the cabinet door... yikes.. but she didnt even make a noise then either.
For fun Giz likes to play chase on the bed. You know .. when you are in the bed and move your feet around?? Yeah that's it.. her favorite game. She also likes to tease the other two cats.. she will run over and jump over them, or do something else to make them chase her. She is just plain silly.

Fish fish

We also have a bunch of fish. But everyone knows what fish look like right?? (Well, I dont have a picture of them so.. ) There are 10 goldfish and 2 neons, a couple of mollys and 3 alge-eaters in the tank now. We used to only have the goldfish. But our neighbor was getting rid of her fish, so she gave them to us. Lucky Fish huh??? The cats don't bother them at all, but we do catch them staring at the fish every now and then.

Well, I hope you enjoyed meeting our pets...
Come visit again, I will update any exciting antics, and maybe even get some pictures of those fish.....
