More Texas Flowers
Up Close and Personal....


Think of Texas and you may think of cactus...in the spring you'll see
blooms on the Prickly Pear Cactus and the Claret Cup Cactus among others.

The colors of Texas flora run the gamut from white to deep blue
and all shades in between. Above left are wild azalea in Canyon Trails. At right
is a closeup of Bluebonnet and Indian Paint Brush. Below left is the delicate
white of the dogwood. Varieties of Bougainvillea, below right, can be found in
white, salmon, peach, pink, lavender and several shades of red.
