I completely admire you on your strength. I know what it is like to loose a loved one because of the low brain cell count of others. My twin brother, and best friend in the entire world, Tommy, was killed right before my eyes by a drunk driver on June 17, 1995. We were coming home from skate boarding and roller blading on some ramps in a neighborhood two streets away. We were crossing a very calm street when all of a sudden, God took my best friend away. I held him in my arms, begging God not to take him a ay. I know that when your son first passed away, many people may have said, "I know how much it hurts" or "I know how much pain you are going through" It is so hard for others to realize what it feels like to be with them one second, and have them slip th ough our fingers the next. Because of a man who didn't think, my brothers life ended at 12. Now, I am 14, and not a day goes by that I do not think about him. I have a suggestion to make to you: There is a NASA organization that will take a star and name it for a loved one. The loved one doesn't necessarily have to be deceased. When my brothers and sisters and I were born (there are 11 of us!), my parents each got a star named for us. (Example Mine was the Katherine Elisabeth Baker Star) When my brother passed away, I gave my star to him, and he held it in his arms. I have his star now. You may want to consider getting a star named for your little angel. The cost is $35. I do not know the name of the company, but you may be able to find it over the Internet. Whoa! I think I took up a lot of space in your guestbook. I hope that eventually, the pain in your heart will lessen. Sincerely, Kate

My heart goes out to you for your loss...a child is the most precious gift we are given, and Nicholas sounds wonderful! I have one son...he's 24 now...but he has always been ill. I am divorced and we are very close...he is the best thing in my life, and I am so thankful to have him.
