Christy moved to Hawaii five years ago with her husband, Jim, when he accepted an engineering position with the Department of Defense. She met Jim while she was working as a legal secretary in Iowa. She was raised in Breda, Iowa and attended college at the Des Moines Area Community College. Jim and Christy have two children, Justin, 6, and Victoria, 2.
Christy is a full-time mom and in addition has her own business. Her passion for candles convinced her to become a Party Lite consultant, a company that specializes in candles and candle accessories.
Christy's birthday is December 20 and she enjoys eating pizza at Emilio's in downtown.
