The information you present is great and so needed! The only reason I've survived is because of my wife's support - our only son was a police officer, ambushed, shot, and killed in the line-of-duty. After a year and a half of deep depression (and my wife delaying her grief process), I wrote a pamphlet abo t our son, "ONLY ONE SON ... In The Line Of Duty." II Corinthians 1:3 and 4 I am a police chaplain (feel that I'm still "pastoring!"). We're now working with our law enforcement "family!" Probably you're aware of the marriage statistics ... Your homepage has been a tremendous blessing to me. I made copies of several pages to share it with my friends because they are currently giving a class on Christian parenting. I know the articles will be a blessing to their ministry as well. The Lord had used me as an instrument in other peoples lives who are going through difficulties in their relationships. To encourage, counsel, a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, just to be a friend. I am a single mother and I have a 14 year old daug ter. After 1 marriage of 2 1/2 years then 1 live-in for 7 years, I finally realized Jesus is the only One that can fill all the voids in my life. Thank you for the insight. My fiance and I are both "newer" Christians (little over a year) and I thought I loved him before, I never knew what would happen at the hands of the Lord. I have to read everything I can just to try to keep up with the work H has done in my fiance's life and outlook on life.
