THE FLOYD COUNTIAN is published Quarterly in March, June, September and December by THE FLOYD COUNTY HISTORICAL & GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY. One copy is presented to each member as part of their membership. Additional copies are available at $3.00 each. Back issues when they become available are $3.50 each. Articles for publication may be submitted typewritten or on disk, many word processorsare supported. Word Perfect is used by the Society. The Author should inform the editor which word processor was used. At present PC Compatibles are supported. Pictures submitted should be of the highest quality so that we may reproduce them successfully. Originals will be returned to their owners if so requested.
Queries of Genealogical and Historical interest will be published free of charge. Be sure to include as much information as possible and an address and telephone number where the submitter can be contacted.
The Floyd Countian will swap newsletters on a no charge basis with other Historical and Genealogical organizations. Libraries should contact the Society for special rates.
