Chris Landis was born in New Orleans, La., on Dec. 24, 1958. He attended Western Hills High School in Fort Worth
and pursued a vocation of dental technician. He lived most of his life in Fort Worth and had resided in Austin for two
years.
Survivors: Mother and father, Karla and Guy Klos of Joshua; sister, Jan Mayhall of Pensacola, Fla.; aunt, Joann Benson
of Coppell; uncle, John Klos of Minneapolis, Minn.; and many cousins and friends.

Stuart Morris Charles LUVE, 95, a retired daily newspaper publisher, died Friday in San Antonio. Rosary: 7 tonight at Porter Loring Chapel. Funeral Mass: 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John Newmann Catholic Church. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery. Officiating: Father Robert Silverman. Pallbearers: His eight grandsons. Mr. Luce was born Dec. 22, 1900, in Kalamazoo, Mich. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and attended Western State Normal College. He entered the retail business and managed a department store. Later, he joined a publishing company and was a publisher of two daily newspapers and later did special newspaper assignments. He liked marketing and later became marketing director for a major manufacturer with warehouse and offices in key cities throughout the Southeastern and Western states. In 1944, he became interested and helped in the founding of the Texas A&M Firemen's Training school, which now hosts 4,000 to 5,000 safety engineers and firemen a year - some from foreign countries. He attended the A&M school for 47 consecutive years. Mr. Luce was interested in young people and helped them in many ways to get ahead in any field of endeavor they chose. He married Catherine Louise Wagner of Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1925. They had two daughters. The family moved to Highland Park in Dallas in 1943, where they lived for 45 years. Mr. and Mrs. Luce moved to San Antonio in 1990. Survivors: Wife of 70 years, Catherine L. Luce; and two daughters, Mary Katherine Goebel of San Antonio and Carol Jane Weaver of Fort Worth; brother, Phillip A. Luce of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Corene Dyer, John Goebel, Jane Obriotti, Mark Goebel, Mary Christine Volkmar, Stephen Goebel, Peter Goebel, Thomas Weaver, Michael Weaver, Patrick Weaver, Joseph Weaver, Rosemary Plemmons nad Kathryn Robbins; and 29 great-grandchildren. Billy Lamar LOTHRIDGE, 54, died Saturday in Navarre. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wards Funeral Home in Gainesville, Ga. Burial: Alta Vista Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at Wards Funeral Home. Billy Lamar Lothridge was born Jan. 1, 1942, in Cleveland, Ga. He was a commercial accounts representative for Cablevision in Gulf Breeze, Fla. Mr. Lothridge was a member of Tiger Point Country Club and Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge. He was inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Georgia Tech Hall of Fame. Mr. Lothridge was the most outstanding quarterback and punter for Georgia Tech on the 100-Year History Team and played for the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins.
