THE LIBRARY

Grab a comfy seat, and read a good book with the kids!

We don't actually have a "library" in our real home, but I thought I'd add one here at geocities. Here are some really good books. Right now they are mostly childrens books, but hey! What else would a mom read?? :o)

If you 've read a good book lately why not email me about it, and I'll post it here for others to read.

****Ratings: 1 to 5. 5 being the best.****

ROCK+A+BYE+FARM

This is an excellent book written by Diane Johnston Hamm, and Illustrated by Rick Brown. This is the perfect book to read at bedtime. In this story, the farmer rocks each of his farm animals to sleep one by one. Caleb got to the point were he could "read" mommy the book. We rate this book a 4.

Mama Do You Love Me?

An excellent book written by Barbara M. Joose and Illustrated by Barbara Lavallee. In this story, a little girl thinks up as many wrong or scarey things that she could do, and finds out that no matter what, her mama will ALWAYS love her. This book teaches a wonderful lesson to children about the unconditional love parents have for them. We rate this book a 5.

THE TRUE STORY OF THE 3 LITTLE PIGS!

This is a cute little story "as told to " Jon Scieszka by A. Wolf. and Illustrated by Lane Smith. This book gives you a different view of the 3 little pigs story. We couldn't help but laugh as we read the Wolfs side of things! We rate this book a 5.

Stellaluna

A cute story by Janell Cannon. After a baby bat falls headfirst into a birds nest, she is raised like a bird untill she is reunited with her mother. We rate this book a 4.
