Opal

 

  1. Opal male X normal female can produce all normal young carrying Opal.

  2. Normal male carrying Opal X Opal female can produce 50% Opal and 50% normal carrying Opal.

  3. Normal male carrying Opal X normal female carrying Opal can produce 25% Opal, 50% normal carrying Opal, 25% normals.

  4. Opal male X Opal female produces all Opal young.

The Opal mutation is not sex-linked, therefore the sexes can be reversed with the same results.
