Muphasa (Leo's Guardian Angle)
The Chow was a strong breed of dog that was bread in China as an empirial gaurd dog. He was brought to us from the city pound, we took him in just like all the others.
One evening at dusk (ten miles from the smallest of towns, a mile away from the house, and two miles from the nearest neighbor) we were chasing a horse back to the house. I was out with Leo and finally got the horse to turn toward the house and it ran all the way to the stall leaving us in the field. On the mile walk back it went dark and no moon. I had a small flashlight, a knife, and no gun. We were about half way to the house when Leo stopped in front of of me. I tried to pass. Leo would not let me pass. I got mad, he would NOT let me pass. I ran, he would not let me pass he stayed on the west side of me. Then with the light on the path I saw 5 coyotes about 100 yards ahead in the light but I knew there was more cross it. We stood still as I knew that knife was a joke against that many and why they were so close to a man and a dog I have no idea, but Leo would not move. As the yelpping started off in a distance Leo took off in front of me again along the path back to the house.
From then on
