He married Esther Bearse in Pembroke, MA, 2/6/1812. Esther was born in Pembroke, MA 3/24/1776. She was the daughter of Ichabod Bearse and Eastese or Esther Holmes. Esther died 4/12/1865 at 89 years of age.

Hosea or Horice Bearse and Esther Bearse had the following children:
