Mission Settle
This settle is inspired by two designs from the Stickley catalog.
I liked the slats on one model and the flat top rail on another...
so I put them both together on this design. I think it works nicely.
The settle measures 34" tall, 34" deep, and 84" wide and is is
constructed using mortise and tenon joints. The wood of choice
is maple. The legs are constucted from four pieces of maple
with walnut inlay on the corners.
This settle is large enough to serve as a guest bed.
