| Hello, My name is Sue and I am the webmistress of the Demeter Surname Resource Center. I am 34 years old, where has all that time gone?! I am married and have three wonderful children, who are the light of my life. | This website was borne out of my passion for genealogy. I believe that preservation of family history no matter what your origins is extremely important. My goal for this site is to build a large, free database that will aid all those researching their Demeter roots. I have also added my other family branches in the hope that I will be able to connect with others who are researching those surnames and/or locales. Another area of this site is my awards program. I have found that giving awards can be as much fun as receiving them. I love to visit the sites of the nominees. I have discovered so many outstanding, bookmark worthy sites, that I may have never found otherwise. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here are some quick facts about me. I am an Aquarius. My hobbies include genealogy, stargazing, crafts, and paranormal research. My favourite t.v. shows include documentaries, cartoons, and the X-files. Favourite video games are the Zelda series for N64. I love to read mostly historical novels, occasionally a good mystery, and true accounts of paranormal experiences, especially UFOs. Ooooh and I love poetry especially the classics. I also collect angels and fairies. Another favourite past time is going to yard sales. I have found many antique treasures this way. My favourie sport is Hockey! Hockey! Hockey! Favourite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I anxiously await the day they skate away with Lord Stanley's Cup. It's been way too long..eh! Music, I like all forms of, from rock to classical. However I am a big fan of Jim Morrison and The Doors. I am a very proud Canadian eh! Yes I do admit to saying eh a lot.
