BARBECUED MEATBALLS
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. milk
1 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. each salt and pepper
Sauce:
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. catsup
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. sugar
Mix hamburger, milk, oatmeal, salt and pepper well. Shape into balls and place in baking dish. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
FRIENDSHIP TEA MIX
1 (16 oz.) jar Tang
1/2 c.lemonade drink mix
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. instant tea
1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot gelatin
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cloves
Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container. To make, boil 1 cup water and add 1 1/2 tablespoons of mix; stir until dissolved. Add ice for iced tea. This makes 50 (1 cup) servings.
FRUIT DIP
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. jar marshmallow creme
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix together until smooth. May add food coloring. Good with any fruit. Will keep several days in refrigerator.
RASBERRY PUNCH
1/2 gal. rasberry sherbet
2 (2 liter) bottles Sprite
Pour Sprite over sherbet in punch bowl.
PUNCH
1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
2 pkg. orange Kool-Aid
3 qt. water
3 c. sugar
1 qt. ginger ale
Mix all ingredients except ginger ale. Add the ginger ale just before serving.
STRAWBERRY PUNCH
4 (16 oz.) bottles strawberry soda
1 large bottle ginger ale
1 qt. orange sherbet
Pour strawberry soda and ginger ale into punch bowl. Scoop orange sherbet in chunks and place and place on top of soda mixture. Do not mix. Ice cream will fizz and float on top of punch.
STRAWBERRY PUNCH II
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (6 oz.) frozen lemonade, thawed
3 qt. chilled ginger ale
Place strawberries, pineapple, and lemonade into blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into punch bowl. Add ginger ale.
