    Robert C. Womble , 55, of Oceanside, Calif., formerly of Covington, died Friday in La Jolla, Calif.

    Survivors include his wife, Connie Womble; a son, Robert Womble Jr. of Oceanside; daughters, Joann Kennedy and Ahmad Abdul-Khabir of Los Angeles; brothers, George T. Womble of Covington, Samuel W. Womble of Corinth and Jack Womble of Hebron; sisters, Jean M. Womble and Rosemary James, both of Covington; and one grandchild.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Oceanside. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Eternal Hills Cemetery, Oceanside.

    Grover Galen James , 50, of Covington, died at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. He was a truck driver and an Army veteran.

    Survivors include his wife, Rosemary James; sons, Frank Key of Florence, Travis James and Tyler James, both of Covington; daughters, Ginger James, Gwendolyn James and Amanda James, all of Covington; his mother, Shirley James of Burlington; brothers, Paul Gayhland James of Berry, Glennard James and Gerald James, both of Burlington, and Floyd Gregory James of Florence; sisters, Ginger Day James of Burlington and Gwendolyn Wester; and one grandchild.

    Services will be at noon Wednesday at Catchen Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Memorials are suggested to James Children Fund, in care of Huntington Bank, 2522 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Ky. 41005.

    Ethel Rose Harlow, 83, of Covington, died at 5:20 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Franciscan Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert Harlow, died in 1985.

    Survivors include daughters, Patricia Whalen of Fort Mitchell and Kathy Mullen of Grants Lick; sons, Mike Harlow and Dave Harlow, both of Cincinnati, Danny Harlow of Florence and Bob Harlow of Covington; a brother, Justin Brinkman of Florida; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday at Mother of God Church, Covington. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.

    Dorothy M. Lovelace , 78, of Latonia, died at 5:25 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington.

    She was a retired bookkeeper with First National Bank, Cincinnati. Her husband, Maurice E. Lovelace, died in 1984.

    Survivors include daughters, Ida Hicks of Latonia, Linda Hudson of Picayune, Miss., and Carol Brockell of Lakeside Park; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Services were this morning at Catchen Funeral Home, Covington. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell.

    Earl Cope , of Burlington, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

    Survivors include his wife, Brenda Cope; and a son, Carl Cope of Burlington.

    Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery. Stith Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.

    Ann Henry Taylor , 80, of Florence, died Thursday at Florence Park Care Center, Florence. She was a retired production worker for Johnson and Harding, Cincinnati, and a member of Wesleyan Christian Church, Covington. Her husband, Carl Taylor, died in 1997.

    Survivors include her grandson, Carl Cope of Burlington; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Cope of Burlington.

    Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of the services Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.

    Lawrence "Bill" Gillum, 67, of Dry Ridge, died Monday at University Medical Center, Lexington. He was a mechanic with Tri-County VW and Robke Ford, and a member of Community Pentecostal Church, Independence.

    Survivors include his wife, Marcella King Gillum; sons, Randy Lee Gillum of Dry Ridge, Lawrence Gillum Jr. and Ricky Gillum, both of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Jan Sibille Gillum of Dry Ridge; sisters, Alta Lindon of Van Cleve, Faye Cordes of Taylor Mill, Sue Works of Walton, Betty Taulbee of Lee City and Gay Thompson of Cincinnati; brothers, Robert Gillum of Owenton, Ted Gillum of Frankford, Del., Larry Gillum of Lakeside Park and Nelson Gillum of Covington; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

    Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Community Pentecostal Church, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Community Pentecostal Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Road, Independence, Ky. 41051.
