My "babies" - Rebel,
a Min Pin, Rusty, a Cocker Spaniel, Missy, a Maltese/Poodle,
Holly, a Cairn Terrier, Angel, a Yorkie/Maltese
mix, and Dancer, a parti color Standard Poodle. Bailey & Cricket (yorkie/maltese mixes) joined our family in January 2007) . Cooper, my red Standard Poodle, came to live with us in July 2007.
(Sadly, on May 24, 2003, Missy lost her battle with heart
disease. Please read her site and her memorials.)
(And on Feb. 6, 2004, little Rebel lost
his battle with heart disease also. Please read his
site and his memorial). We lost Holly on 1/28/07, one month shy of her 14th birthday.

"Geez, Fran, I
can't play right now
I have too many e-mails to read!"
I told my sister
I was going to put her picture on my web page -
I can't wait until she sees which one I chose!
Oh, by the way, Fran is my twin sister, aka "Ayzha" - "Ayzha's
Attic".

If we all lived in peace, the world would be a better place.

A Bit About Barb |
My daughter, Dawn, has given
me the inspiration to create a home page which I dedicate with love to
her beautiful memory. Family and friends were Dawn's life - and I am proud
to share a small part of Dawn's life with her children, Kody and Tawny
Sky, and with her friends and family.
"We
shall all meet again in the DAWN of a
new tomorrow."
I Love you..Mom

Thank you so much for sharing this with me, Chris.
If you have a friend
who has lost a child,
please take time to read "So, You Want to Understand?"
It is a very frank and down-to-earth poem
that will help you understand what your friend needs
after the death of her child.

A hundred years from now, it will not matter the sort of house I lived in, what my bank account was, or the car I drove .... but the world may be different, because I was important in the life of the animals and the creatures on this earth." ~Author Unknown
Please do not support pet shops that sell puppies!
Most likely they came from backyard breeders or puppy mills, they are overpriced and in questionable health. Pet shops that sell puppies do so not to "improve the breed", but to make a quick buck. They are usually cramped in cages that are too small or too crowded, and they are handled by hundreds of people on a daily basis, which is not good for the puppy's health. Tell your pet shop you will not shop there if they continue to sell puppies! Leave the breeding and selling to reputable breeders!

To my grandchildren, Kody, Tawny,
Connor, Skylar, and Quinn
I love you all very much.
To Connor, Skylar, and Quinn - you all are growing up to be such beautiful children and I am so proud of you.
To Kody and Tawny - I know your mom is looking down on you from Heaven and keeping you safe.
She loved you both very much.
Kiss your children every day...today is gone and tomorrow may never come
