Fifty-six (56) of the most energetic, lively, happy and dedicated dancers that you ever saw. From 4 and 5 year olds up to 20 year olds. They all performed with vigor and smiles that won Village "UKRAINA" and them the "BEST ENTERTAINMENT" Award for 1997 during the International Villages Festival in Brantford.
During these eight (8) days, they provided audiences with four (4) performances every day (except on Wednesday when we had "BARVINOK" from London, Ontario).
We used to let our "LITTLE PROS" go home after the third (3rd) performance because we felt that it was past their bed time.
WELL!!! We got so much flack from these little guys because we were robbing them of the pleasure of going on stage and performing that we had to let them stay up and go on. Especially for the last performance of the last day. Talk about a perpetual motion machine!!!
The smiles on their faces, the enthusiasm of their performances and the cheers of the audience proved to us that THEY were right.
