Sarah Coe, daughter of Nathan and Mary Dorcus (Tudor) Coe, was born in 1805 in Baltimore County, MD. In 1798 her family lived in a 18x16-foot, one story log house located on a 300-acre farm owned by Richard Brother in North Hundred, Baltimore County. Before 1810 they moved to Brooke County, VA, where they appear in the 1810 census. About 1813 they moved to Muskingum County, OH, where they owned a 100-acre farm in Licking Township. Her father Nathan Coe, who was born in Baltimore County, MD, July 4, 1757, died in Muskingum County, October 3, 1833. He left a will dated August 1, 1833, in which he named his daughter Sarah Meeks. Sarah married Samuel Meeks in Muskingum County, March 15, 1829. Samuel and Sarah moved to Union County, OH. The county seat is Marysville. Parents: William Coe and Susanna Harriott.

He was married to Mary Dorcas Tudor on 15 Mar 1790 in Baltimore County, Maryland. Listed names are: Darcus Tudor and Nathan Cole.
