POEMS
BACK TO SCHOOL AND FALL THEMES
September Poems
September September
September means it's time again September is a time,
For going off to school. Of beginning for all
The days are getting shorter Beginning of school
And the nights are getting cool. Beginning of fall.
FALL POEMS
WHAT FALLS IN THE FALL? RAIN OF LEAVES
In the fall It's raining big,
Do you fall out of bed? It's raining small,
Do you land on your head? It's raining autumn leaves
In the fall In fall
Do houses fall down? It's raining gold
And buildings and butterflies And red and brown
All over town? As Autumn leaves
Something must fall Come raining down.
In the fall if you please, It's raining everywhere I look
Oh yes, The leaves fall. It's raining bookmarks
They fall from the trees. On my book.

OPENING
LINES.......
WAKE UP! I LIKE SCHOOL!
Jump, jump, jump. I like school
S-T-R-E-T-C-H Can't live without it,
Clap, clap, clap, I want to tell you all about it.
S - P - E - A - D The rhyme and the rhythm
Whirl, twirl, spin, stop! of the word,
Jump, clap, whirl, plop! Is exciting to be heard,
Words are fun to figure out.
Then you know what reading's
about.
The sounds
of the language in your ear,
Will make you shout and cheer.
I LIKE SCHOOL!
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!
