THE LORD JESUS’ BLESSING TO US


Eph 1:3-6 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.” NKJV

What has the Lord blessed us with? _____________________________________

There were two things that we should be before the Lord? ______________________

Gal 2:19-20 “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” NKJV

Who no longer lives once you are crucified with Christ? _______________________

2 Cor 5:18-21 “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” NKJV

Heb 13:4-6 “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" NKJV

Once we can say boldly the Lord is my helper what is expected of us? ___________

What is the Lord’s promise to us if we Obey? ________________________________

Rom 6:11-12 “Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.” NKJV

Do you want to allow sin (the devil) to rule you or let Jesus free you? ______________

Eph 3:14-19 “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” NKJV

When you ask Jesus to free you what will you want to do? _____________________

Have you fed your soul to know it’s depth and height? _________________________

Has the love of Christ which passes knowledge filled your soul? _________________

Heb 9:13 “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. “ NKJV

What was the blood of goats and calves used for? __________________________

How did Jesus enter the Most Holy Place? _________________________________

Who did He obtain eternal redemption for? ________________________________

Eph 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” NKJV

Do you still feel far off and not been brought near to Christ? ____________________

Heb 9:15 “And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. NKJV
