MATTHEW 24 THE FOUNDATION
Matthew 24 is Jesus telling us about the end times. The chart is from Revelation. I believe if we are truly seeking the truth and want to study Bible Prophecy it helps to start with Matthew 24, and it requires study.
You will begin to notice how I overlay the scriptures. In any given situation you need all the facts to come to any kind of an interpretation. When you realize how many overlays there are, it will prove even further, the validity of the Bible. Only our Lord could have interwoven so completely all the scriptures.
Look at the chart for a minute and see if you notice something that I found interesting. The seals and trumpets never involve more than 1/3 or 1/4 or the earth at any given time. But the vials are 100% of the ocean, 100% of the rivers, the mountains are gone and so are the islands.
Do you know how to fully trust in the Lord?
Can you hear His voice?
For remember, His Word tells us, that there will be those who are alive and remain, until the Day Of the Lord. When the Lord comes, we shall be with Him and then His Wrath is poured out.

(Mat 24:7 KJV) "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."
Here is one of the promises for us in times of trouble.
Psalm 33:18-19NAS "Behold the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness; To deliver their soul from death, and
TO KEEP THEM ALIVE IN FAMINE."
What a promise that we can hold onto.
Do you have enough faith to trust the Lord for everything?
Revelation 6:3-8 "And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

(Mat 24:9-10 KJV) "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another."
Revelation 6:9-10 "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: and they cried out with a loud voice saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?"
Revelation 2:10 "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
Revelation 12:17 "And the Dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Do you hold the testimony of Jesus?
If the Dragon goes after the rest of her offspring, who are those with her?

Now that I gave you some examples, see if you can find some of the overlaying scriptures for Matthew 24.
I pray that we have given you some insight into how we all can search His Word. Start today, if you have not been reading your Bible. Do not let the enemy delay you any longer. If you do not understand what it means, do not let it deter you. Praise the Lord for what you do understand and go from there. When I did that, the Lord opened my eyes with new insight and a hunger for more of His Word. For our God is a Rewarder to those who fervently seek Him.
