“NEVER ASSUME SALVATION”

April 18th, 2000

As you know Tuesdays are the Joy of my week. This last Saturday we lost one of our ladies in group 2. So last nite I called the activity director and told her just because we were busy for Easter did not make it right not to have a memorial so I asked her to get the cookies and punch ready.

Well I put together a program last night and this morning and it was a wonderful day in the Lord sharing our Joy knowing she is with Him.

In group one earlier we were just sharing about what the Passover was and sharing a few stories about what some of the Pop Ups meant. Had a good session on the one about the Armor of God.

When we were done with the group #I realized I was 15 min ahead of time and I wandered out onto the patio. What a gorgeous day we were having. It felt so cool in the breeze ( had worn my uniform for the memorial and was really warm) and here comes one of my little ladies who had not come to the meeting today.

I went up and hugged her and she just started to cry. Have you ever assumed something and found out; Wow! I was wrong there? Well this was one of those assumption things. I thought she already knew Jesus. When I shared with her about giving her burden to Jesus and she said she did not know if she knew Him, I asked her if she knew Jesus she said I don't think so; it almost floored me.

Well as it would be, we talked in the coolness of the day and shared His love and what a Joy it was for me when I asked her if she wanted to accept Jesus into her heart and she said Yes.

Today was indeed a good day for me and I pray that He will never leave me nor forsake me and that I don't care what anyone thinks I shall continue to share how easy it is to lead others to Him when we follow His leading and Obey.
