THE WRATH OF GOD
THE DAY OF THE LORD

(Isa 13:9-13 KJV) “Behold, THE DAY OF THE LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and IN THE DAY of his fierce anger.”

If you have read my work you will see how all the scriptures used on each topic end up being interconnected. In the above verse, it tells that the Sun shall be darkened , and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. That event is covered on the “Moon Into Blood” page. Now I do not claim any special gifts for interpreting scripture but, logically speaking, if the Lord removes the earth out of her place, that would be pretty cataclysmic. How long would life exist after that? This one premise is where I see the Vials poured out in quick succession. Look on the chart on “The Foundation Of Bible Prophecy” page and you will see how involved the earth is when the Vials are poured out.

We will not suffer the Wrath of God, for the Lord has come and we are with Him. But this is not some secret rapture or a spiritual only interpretation, it is literal. This is when every eye will see and every tongue confess, and Jesus comes in glory. Read this whole paper to see the verses for yourself, before you go jumping to any conclusion of what you thought. In the next verse he tells us what to do.

(Isa 26:20-21 KJV) “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."

Do you see that the Lord is going to protect us, that we will not suffer His wrath. None of these verses on the Wrath of God as the Day Of the Lord give any interpretation that we will not suffer persecution. We shall suffer persecution both spiritually and physically.

(Luke 21:10-15 KJV) “Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”

“But before all these,” did you notice that we will be persecuted for His name’s sake. How many of our Christian brothers and sisters are dying all over the world right now for their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Read the rest of the chapter in Luke and you will see that Jesus told us about the persecution, and then further on He tells us of His coming. We have to wake up and see that Jesus is trying to forewarn us and so many are not listening. It has been said to me, “Well it does not matter what is going to happen for Jesus will let us know when He wants too.” Excuse me, He is telling us. His Word is telling us, His people who are called by His name are telling us.

WHY ISN’T ANYONE LISTENING?

(Luke 21:16-19 KJV) “And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls."

The above scripture is beyond comprehension for most of us. How could my mother or friends betray me? This one topic is most likely getting into the discussion we will have later on the, “Global Ethic Document.” Put the words Global Ethic into a search and read what you find. One World Religion is already shaping up and will again meet in 1998. It’s title is World Parliament of Religions. Pay attention to the parts where it talks of people being classified as: “Not authentically human. Scary stuff and it is being done right in the open and no one is paying attention. Now back to the WRATH OF GOD.

(EZEKIAL 30:3 KJV) “For the day is near, even THE DAY OF THE LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.”

(Zep 1:14-18 KJV) “The GREAT DAY OF THE LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the VOICE OF THE DAY OF THE LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath,
A DAY OF TROUBLE AND DISTRESS,
A DAY OF WASTENESS AND DESOLATION,
A DAY OF DARKNESS AND GLOOMINESS,
A DAY OF CLOUDS AND THICK DARKNESS,
A DAY OF THE TRUMPET
and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in THE DAY OF THE LORD'S WRATH; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.”

Again we see where the DAY OF THE LORD is an all consuming day of Wrath. Notice the last verse where it says, “the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy, For He shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.”

Our Lord is merciful even to those who do not know or trust Him for He will not prolong their destruction.

(Zep 2:1-3 KJV) “ Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before THE DAY OF THE LORD'S ANGER come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in THE DAY OF THE LORD'S ANGER.”

Our Lord is telling us to WAKE UP! and to SEEK HIM. If you are hearing from God by reading His word and praying for guidance, it may be that you shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger. My only desire is to learn and to teach all of us, how to Seek Him and to Hear Him. I mean really Hear Him, not in the physical but to know beyond a doubt that we are being led by the Holy Spirit. I do not hear an audible voice, it used to be that half the time I was not still enough to hear anything. But not now, when I am seeking my Lord and searching His Word for the Truth, something wonderful always happens.

My whole life is now consumed with a burning passion to know Him better, and I am meeting people from all over the world that are sharing this same testimony of God’s guidance. I want to know for a fact that the voice I hear will be my Lord’s. For we are warned that Satan comes even as an angel of Light. Do you know your scriptures well enough to test the Spirits?

(1 Th 1:8-10 KJV) “For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which DELIVERED US FROM THE WRATH TO COME.”

I love the above verse, it blesses me to know that when we have turned from our idols to the serve the living and true God, our faith is noticed by others. It is that quiet witness that some possess. But the last sentence is the best, “To wait for His Son from heaven.” I am anxiously watching for my Lord, are you?

(1 Th 5:9-11 KJV) "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do."

The whole object of this site is to edify one another, and to comfort each other. We are told to watch for the schemes of the devil, and still I get trapped at times. But I shall no longer say, “Oh well, it does not really matter anyway, no one else will know my sin.” We can not sear our consciences any longer. If we hurt someone we must settle that now, if we gossip we must confess, all our sins must be forgiven, not just what we consider major ones. Yes saints, even when we serve our Lord we can still be trapped by the devil, so be watchful of his schemes. We can not let doctrinal differences separate us any longer from the Love of our Lord. We must get into the Word and hear what the Lord is trying to tell all of us. Have you seared your conscience, I do not want a hardened or impenitent heart, do you?

(Rom 2:5-11 KJV) “But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against THE DAY OF WRATH and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God.”

Jesus promises us Glory , Honour, and Peace to every man that worketh good.

(Rev 6:15-17 KJV) “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

“For the Great Day of His Wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?” Will you be counted among those who are standing with the Lord Jesus or will you be one of those who will suffer His wrath?

(Rev 14:9-10 KJV) “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine OF THE WRATH OF GOD, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:”

Do you know the signs of the times have you been believing someone else’s teaching or do you have your trust in the Lord Jesus? The mark of the beast will be a literal mark, for our Lord said so, and He never lies, nor does He change His mind.

(Rev 15:1-4 KJV) “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, SEVEN ANGELS HAVING THE SEVEN LAST PLAGUES; FOR IN THEM IS FILLED UP THE WRATH OF GOD. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.”

"SEVEN ANGELS HAVING THE SEVEN LAST PLAGUES;
FOR IN THEM IS FILLED UP THE WRATH OF GOD."

This is one of those scriptures that for me makes it really plain, that our Lord is letting us know all that will happen. He is telling us where we will be and that is with Him, and that He has the victory over the beast, his image, his mark, his number.

(Psa 27:5 KJV) “ FOR IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE HE SHALL HIDE ME IN HIS PAVILION: IN THE SECRET OF HIS TABERNACLE SHALL HE HIDE ME; HE SHALL SET ME UP UPON A ROCK.”

FINALLY, SEARCH HIS WORD, TRUST HIS WORD, OBEY HIS WORD. PRAY THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE US ALL INTO TRUTH, SO THAT WE MAY SERVE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FAITHFULLY. PEOPLE, IT IS LATER THAN YOU THINK.
