Here is where I will post interesting little cat facts that I have either read, had sent to me by a friend via email, or things that are just so darn obvious that they must be facts! If you would like to submit a cat fact or two, please -- by all means -- email me! Now let's enjoy the quirks of cats together . . .

--If you are a cat-lover, you are an "ailurophile". For those folks that do not like cats (as though they would actually be visiting these pages!) are called, "ailophobe." The word comes from the Greek for, "tail wavers."
--In the average year here in America, cat owners spend about 2.2 billion dollars on cat food, and another 295 million on cat litter!
--When a cat rolls onto its back and shows you his tummy, this does not always indicate he wants a rub. For the most part, he is showing you that he is comfortable and content around you, as he is showing the most vulnerable part of his anatomy to you.
--Over-handling a kitten can actually make them less loving and more difficult to train, experts say. Hmph!

I promise to post a bunch more facts in a day or two, but meanwhile, give me some of your findings. I hope you have enjoyed this fun part of my cat pages.
