Born near Londondery, IR & came to York Co, PA before War of the Revolution.
Drove a baggage waggon at Braddock's defeat. He settled one mile west of John
Franklin Glenn's place and moved six miles north at Abe Titman's and died
there. He was married three times. Bought land on Plentifull Run, Spottsyl-
vania Co, VA 5 Mar 1768 and sold it 27 Feb 1770. Moved to Tryon Co, NC
in 1775. Bought land in Tryon Co on 25 Oct 1775. Did patriotic service in NC
