Served in Co I, 11 Reg. NC Troops. He moved to Bakersville, Mitchell Co., NC
between 1865 and 69 with his brother David Monroe Glenn. They were carpenters
and built a number of houses. Robert Jasper, called "Jap" did not like the
mountains and returned to Cherryville, Gaston, NC.
