[884] Note from Beverly K. Short, "Elizabeth Morgan Mahanay must have been avery strong and brave woman. She raised ten children alomst alone. . .When her husband died in 1846 her youngest son was only one year old.She had to raise all of these children alone and this must have been avery hard job. I found that the family seemed to stay together andmove together. When the oldest son my gr-gr-gr grandfather Benjaminmoved to Gasconade Co. Missouri that his mother and younger brothersalso moved. Now there is some confustion when and where ELizabethdied. I found a Elizabeth Manany the right age on the census inJohnson county in 1880, but from other information received from oneof lines, he said that she died in Gasconade Co., Missouri. She diddie in 1882 but not sure where she was at the time. Her grandfatherJob Morgan was a Revolutionary Soldier."
