Penna artillery volunteers who was enrolledon the sixth day of August one thousand eight huncred Sixt Tow toserve three years or during the War is hereby Discharged from theservice of the United States, this twenty second day of May 1865 atHead Quraters Army of the Potomac by virtue of Gernal order No. 26 Hd.Q's Quarter of Potomac My 17, 1865. No objection to his beingre-enlisted is known to exist.
Said William H. Knox was born in Pittsburgh in the state ofPennsylvania is 23 years of age, five feet ten and half inches, faircomplexion, hazel eyes, light hair and by occupation, when enrolled, aclerk.
