Husband's NotesThe Cook family origins are somewhat obscure at this time. The only clues as to their origin can be found in the census records of Emily. She states that both her parents were born in the state of New York. Emily's son Jesse was the informant on her death certificate and could not name Emily's mothers maiden name.

Excerpts from Death Certificate #35784 Emily died from acute bronchitis that had lasted for 20 days contributing was hypostatic pneumonia. She had been a housewife from 1852 to 1898 the date of husband George's death. She had lived in the state for 49 years. Undertaker was Staninger & Staninger Sumner, Illinois. Informant was Jesse Warren her son. The Warren Family Bible has the following: Emily E. Warren died November 11, 1911 aged 82 years 9 months 13 1/2 days. She was afflicted for several years with bronchitis and it combined with old age finally terminated in her death.![]()
