Hughes, died January 10/11 1906, Forrest City, St. Francis Co., Arkansas. I need his obituary (or something) to help try to find the names of his parents. Any help will be appreciated.

Hildred H. Ables, 700 Garfield, Miami, OK 74354. Who were the parents of my GGF, Daniel Hughes, b. 1822 Alabama - d ca1858 Arkansas - married 1849 to Perlina Ann Smith, b. 1830 Tennessee. I find them in Marion County, Tennessee with 6 month old daughter. Second child was born 1853 in Arkansas, probably Franklin County. Did they have siblings or other relatives in Arkansas? After Daniels death, Perlina married S. H. Haistens, no issue, but he had a son listed as C. C., age 16, in 1860 census. Daniel and Perlina Hughes' children were: Mary Elizabeth, b. 1849 Tennessee - died 1936, Oklahoma, married Alf Littrell, b. 1858, d. 1944, Oklahoma; Sarah Melvana, b. 185?, married (?), died (?); William Boyd, b. ca1855 Arkansas, died 1902 Indian Territory, married Mary Jane Atkins, 1878, Franklin County, Arkansas; Margaret "Mag" b. 1857 Arkansas, married John G. Davis (E) in Franklin County, Arkansas, 1873; William Boyd Hughes served as Justice of the Peace 1896 until moving to Indian Territory in 1901. He and wife Mary Jane had 12 children while living about 6 miles north of Ozark, Whiteoak district. They moved with 9 of their children (3 died young) to Soper, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory to join Mary and Alf Littrell who had preceded them there. I have lost trace of all of great aunt "Mal" and "Mag's" descendants. I believe the "Mag" and John Davis were living in Asher, Indian Territory in the late 1890's.
