We are excited about this show. We believe it was a great success!!
We asked the students to submit an essay to qualify for the scholarship.
The essay subject was how magic, juggling and clowning related to life.
They were hard to judge, they were all very good. But we did pick a
winner and here it is:
The venues of magic, juggling, and clowning relate to life as the magic of education, the juggling of responsibilities, and the finding of joy in any of life's circumstances. Education is the ability to do all things. Education allows people's lives to be greatly enhanced and furthered. Without education a person would be useless to society because he will not have any knowledge to contribute to the betterment of the world. By gaining knowledge a person can enjoy his life because they will not live a life of ignorance.
The juggling of responsibilities is another very important aspect of life. In everything a person does, there are conflicts. Compromises must be made. A person cannot be so set in his ways that he will not open his eyes to new and wonderful ideas. The American Constitution is a prime example of compromise. Without compromise the United States of America would never have become a reality. Revising your schedule and juggling your responsibilities is a very important factor in life.
The finding of joy in any circumstance is truly needed in life. Life will never be perfect all the time. Anything worth something is never easy to obtain. When bad occurrences happen, don't let them get you down. Think of all the ways you can turn a negative into a positive. You should always work to do the honest and morally right thing because this will give you a magical feeling.
The magic of education, the juggling of responsibilities, and the finding of joy in any circumstance creates a life full of enjoyment and fulfillment.
