Don't Blame Me

I gave you a beautiful garden, and a crystal sea.
All you had to do, was not eat from this tree.
You broke the command, and did what you pleased.
You made your own choices, so don't blame me.

I gave you the Earth, which you covered with blood.
I warned you to stop, so I sent down a flood.
And at the last second, you fell to your knees.
You made your own choices, so don't blame me.

There was a time when, you all prayed so loud.
Now my name is not mentioned, when your out in a crowd.
Your children carry guns, and from each other they flee.
You made your own choices, so don't blame me.

I've given you the tools, they get better each day.
Get on the phone, T.V. , or computer and pray.
Your faith and your love, will again set you free.
So make your own choices, and stop blaming me.
