Refreshing Non-Alcoholic Drinks


Any Flavor Sherbert Punch

1 quart sherbert (any flavor)
1 quart pineapple juice
1 quart orange juice
1 quart apple juice
2 quarts ginger ale

Chill juices together, then combine it with the giner ale (pour from the
side of the punch bowl) and add your sherbert.
Serves 40


Kiwi-Pineapple Smoothie

1 pineapple, cored and chopped
4 kiwi, peeled and chopped
4 cups ice
2 cups low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serves 4-5 8 oz glasses


Strawberry-Lime Frosty

15 straberries, topped and cleaned
1/4 cup lime juice
3 cups ice
2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream
1 cup water

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
Serves 6-8 8 oz glasses


Raspberry-Lemon Spritzer

6 lemons, juiced
1 pint raspberries
1 cup sugar
2 quarts water
1 quart 7-Up or Sprite

Add lemon juice and sugar to water. Add 7-Up or Sprite. Sprinkle with raspberries and serve over ice.
Makes 3 quarts


Snyders Peach Fizz

10 ounces frozen peaches
16 ounces sliced peaches
6 ounces can frozen lemonade
12 ounces 7-Up

Blend all except 7-Up until foamy, add 8-12 ice cubes. Add 7-Up.
Serves 4


Chee Chee Punch

2 quarts pineapple juice
1 can cream of coconut
1 quart ice cream (vanilla)
1 quart club soda

Mix together and enjoy!
Serves 4


Chocolate Peppermint Frappe

3 small round peppermint candies (3/4 oz total)
4 ice cubes, crushed
1 1/2 cups nonfat coffee frozen yogurt or nonfat chocolate frozen yogurt
2 cups cold skim milk
1/3 cup chocolate syrup
Peppermint sticks, for garnish, optional

Place the round peppermint candies in a blender. Whirl until the candies are pulverized fine. Add the crushed ice, frozen coffee yogurt, skim milk and chocolate syrup to the candies in the blender. With on/off pulses, blend until mixture is thick and smooth. Pour into 4 chilled tall glasses and serve.
Garnish each drink with peppermint stick if desired.
Serves 4


Peach Melba Smoothie

1 box (10 oz) frozen raspberries in light syrup, thawed
2 fresh peaches, pitted and quartered or 4 large canned peach halves, drained
1 cup skim milk
1 cup lowfat vanilla frozen yogurt
1 Tblsp honey or sugar
4 ice cubes, crushed

Press berries through a wire-mesh sieve into small bowl; discard seeds in sieve. Whirl peaches, milk, frozen yogurt, honey and crushed ice in blender until smooth and frothy. Swirl in raspberry puree. Pour into 4 glasses.
Serves 4


Creamy Melon Cooler

2 cups cubed ripe cantaloupe
3/4 cup fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt
1 Tblsp frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4 tsp chopped mint leaves
4 ice cubes, crushed

Pulse cantaloupe, yogurt, orange concentrate, mint and ice in blender until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses.
Serves 2


Coffee Smoothie

1 tsp freeze-dried instant coffee granules
1 cup skim milk
1 cup low-fat vanilla ice cream
4 ice cubes, crushed
1 tsp hazelnut flavoring syrup or other coffee flavoring syrup
1 to 2 tsp sugar, optional

Dissolve coffee granules in skim milk in small bowl; let stand for 1 minute. Pulse milk mixture, ice cream, ice and syrup in blender until smooth. Add sugar if desired. Pour into 2 glasses.
Serves 2


Wednesday's Frosties

1 cup milk
1/2 cup Nestle's Quick
3 cups softened ice cream

Put in blender and blenderize until thick and creamy.
Serves 6


Orang Julius Style Drink

1 small (6 oz) can frozen orange juice
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
10 ice cubes

Put all ingredients in blender and liquify.
Serves 4


California Party Punch

1 large can pineapple juice
2 large cans frozen orange juice
2 large cans frozen lemonade
1 pt. orange sherbert
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 large can ginger ale

Mix frozen juices with water as directed on cans.
Mix all juices together. Cut ice cream and sherbert in 2-inch squares and add to
fruit juices. Chill and add ginger ale just before serving.
Serves 4


Fresh Slush

1 (8 1/2 oz) can crushed pineapple
2 bananas cut up
1 cup sugar
6 oz frozen orange juice
2 cups giner ale

Blend pineapple, bananas, sugar, orange juice in blender. Gently stir in ginger ale. Place in pan in
freezer until almost solid. Spoon into sherbert dishes. Refrigerate until slushy.
Serves 4


Grandma's Party Punch

2 quarts sherbert (orange, lime or lemon)
2 cups Dole's unsweetened pineapple juice
4 quarts 7-Up

Use large punch bowl. Add sherbert to punch bowl, pour juice over sherbert. Add 7-Up, pouring over all at last minute to give a foamy effect. Makes a large punch bowl....cut recipe in half for a smaller amount if desired.


Low Calorie Punch

2 (46 oz) cans pineapple juice
1 (6 oz) can lemonade, frozen
1 (16 oz) can limeade, frozen
1 (2 liter) Diet Slice or Diet 7-Up
1 package Diet tropical punch
Kool-Aid

Mix juices and Kool-Aid. Add water with ice to equal 2 quarts. Add soda pop.
Serves 4
