We give gifts at Christmas because God gave His Son to Earth.
Christ gave His life at Easter so you and I can have a new birth.
We don't deserve it or earn it you see,
The new life He gives us is invaluable but free.
It's the reason He came, there's no other way,
Accept Him as Lord and Saviour today.
He won't disappoint you, I know that is true,
He has a marvelous plan all worked out for you.
His coming to Earth was a part of that plan.
Serving Him brings freedom like nothing else can.
He died and arose again from the dead,
To remove our sin and despair and give us new hope instead.
His yoke is easy and His burden is light,
That was His promise and His promise is right.
Follow His leading one step at a time,
And trust Him each moment as upward you climb.
Without Him your life will be incomplete,
But with Him you'll find your life can't be beat.
Not always easy but with Him in control,
You'll have satisfaction, joy and peace in your soul.
