Mickey & Jr
Hello kids! I'm so glad you have come to visit with me & Jr.
I will tell you all about my little friend who I met when he was
just a few months old. He was so little back then. I often meet my friends when they are just tiny babies. Jr's daddy brought me home from the store and me and Jr were instant friends. I would sleep with him at night and I had this magical light so that when he squeezed my tummy, my face would light up so he could see. His daddy and mommy never knew of all the nights we stayed up and played all kinds of games. Right Jr?
Ok, Jr. tell the folks a little bit about yourself. Hi, everybody, I'm Jr. I am four years old and live in Ara, Arazon,
oh yeah, Arizona! It gets really hot out here so I go swimming over at Grandma's house to cool off some. I live with my daddy and mommy and my big sister. She is five years older than me, but I will catch up to her some day. I had a dog named Faith, but she got out of the fence one day and we never saw her ever again. That made me really sad. Daddy said he will get me another dog someday. Yippeee! Meanwhile I like to play with Tosha, my Grandma's dog. She gives me kisses and lets me chase her all over the place. It's lots of fun!
Let's tell the folks what you do for fun. Good idea Mickey. I do lots of things. My favorite thing is all my race cars. Varoom, varoom. I have races with them all the time. I even race Nascars on Grandma's and Grandpa's computer. We have a
steering wheel and everything! I drive Grandpa's remote contol race car outside too! It goes really fast.
What else do you like to do Jr? Well, Mickey, I love to put my puzzles together. They help me to think and learn. I love listening while daddy or Grandma reads me stories and I love playing on the computer. I also like driving my little tike car around the block too. It has a key and a horn to honk. I always honk before I turn a corner. I like playing with lego blocks,
my Elmo train set, and all my learning games that teach me to count and say my ABC's. They teach me colors and shapes and how to say different words. Daddy says they will help me to be very smart.
You know what else I love to do Mickey? I love to go fishing with my Grandma and Grandpa. We go to the lake and take all kinds of really good food to eat. I catch fish and feed the ducks and climb the mountains. I like meeting and talking to the other kids fishing there too! You know what I like to do best?
I like to get a stick and chase the little fish and crawdads by the waters edge. Sometimes the crawdads climb up my stick so I can play with them. But bestest of all, I LOVE to go to the Nascar Races with Grandpa when they are in town. When I get big I am going to beat Jeff Gordon!!! Grandpa says so. He will teach me how to race. Gee, Jr, sounds kind of dangerous to me.
What does Grandma say about it? Not to worry Mickey. Grandma says I can race Nascars, she just won't let me race motorcycles!
I just have to tell you a funny story about Jr when he was three years old. His Grandma took him to the store to get a new toy.
They were in the checkout line when Grandma keeps hearing this lady laughing behind her. She looks at the lady then at Jr. Jr gives her a big smile. Grandma went back to taking things out of the cart when she hears the lady cracking up and laughing really loudly again. She looks reall quick at Jr....and there he is....
sitting in the cart looking at the lady with a big silly grin on his face and making goo goo eyes and batting his eyelashes at her. Then Jr says to the lady, "I'm flirting with you!" Soon everyone around was laughing at him. Grandma was soooo embarrased! Golly gee, Mickey, did you have to tell that one?
I was only a baby then and didn't know what I was doing. Gee, I'll never live that one down!
Grandma's note.....I later learned that mommy had taught him that. She would do that to daddy and tell Jr that's how she
flirts with him.
Hey Mickey, you know what else I like? I like all the special holidays. It's a fun time when all the family gets together and we have alot of fun visiting and playing with each other. We
have lots of fun foods to eat. We get to see people that we
don't get to see everyday. Daddy says it's a time for sharing and caring. I think he's right. Everyday should be a holiday,
right Mickey? You got the right idea Jr!
Well, folks, that's about it for now. I hope you enjoyed
getting to know a little bit of what Jr is all about.
Take care and have a terrific day !
