51. John Frederick HERB was born on Feb 3 1858 in Suwannee County, Florida. He died on Aug 19 1941. He was buried in Siloam Cemetery, Columbia County, Fla. He had a farm and land near Evergreen Baptist Church.His wife was Susan Lane.
They are buried at Siloam Methodist cemetary.The property was sold to a phophate co. but the house still stands today Edward, John, Charlie and Dewitt did not have children. George, Mary Sarah, Ruth, Sybil and Zelma did. Mary's children are both deceased Sarah's children: Ginger, Phyllis (deceased) and June.
Ruth's children: John, Ferrell (deceased)
Sybil's children: Carrol, Jimmie
Zelma's children: June
George's children: Albert, Cecil (deceased) son (deceased) Lori, Susan, George (deceased). I believe there are other children not named.

He was married to Susan LANE on Mar 2 1886 in Columbia County, Florida. Susan LANE was born in Mar 1869. She died Between 1912 & 1920. She appears on the 1910 census but not on the 1920 census. John Frederick HERB and Susan LANE had the following children:

66 iii. John Frederick HERB was born on Feb 18 1892 in Live Oak, Suwannee, Fla.. He died in Jan 1969.
67 iv. Charles Benjamin HERB (Private).
68 v. Dewitt Talmadge HERB was born on Jun 22 1896. He died in Aug 1970.
69 vi. Mary Magdalene HERB was born in Nov 1897 in Lake City, FL. She died in St. Petersburg, FL.
70 vii. Sarah Elizabeth HERB was born on Nov 10 1900. She died on Jul 3 1982.
71 viii. Ruth HERB (Private).
72 ix. Sybil HERB was born in Lake City, FL.
73 x. Zelma HERB was born on Jul 22 1912. She died on Apr 19 1931.
