31. George Zubler HERB was born on Aug 9 1821 in Cranston, Providence,Rhode Island. He died on Oct 19 1877 in Suwannee County, Florida. George Z.Herb was a landowner in Florida in 1850 census . He had property south of Wellborne. He and his wife Keziah Douberly Mccume had 4 children.. He served as a private in Co. D, 4th Florida Infantry, CSA He was enlisted by Capt. Sheffield at Tampa, Fla on Sept 20, 1861 to serve one year and was discharged at Murfreesboro Dec 20, 1862 by reason of being over 40 yr. of age.

He was married to Keziah DOUBERLY (daughter of Jacob S. DOUBERLY and Elizabeth ?) on Dec 26 1850 in Canton, Providence, Rhode Island. Keziah DOUBERLY was born in 1815 in Beaufort, South Carolina. She died between 1901 and 1905 in Columbia City, Fl.. George Zubler HERB and Keziah DOUBERLY had the following children:
