About Us

Since 1949, we have been owned by Dobermans, breeding for the standard. Recognizing that this is a working breed, we strive for intelligence, correct temperment and movement. But they are also our pets, making health, longevity and sociability very important.

Over the years, Rokadade Dobermans have made their mark in comformation, becoming and producing champions, obedience (one life-long Dobe owner stating that she'd never had a dog who learned so easily or worked so readily) and in the home as pets, and when need be, as protectors.

For us there is no other breed.

Joe is an American Kennel Club (AKC) judge for Doberman Pinschers and Great Danes, member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, past delegate to the AKC and the Doberman Pinscher Club of America(DPCA), past president and life member of the Oakland County Kennel Club and the Doberman Pinscher Club of Detroit (DPCD). He started the first conformation classes in the Detroit area and for many years was the Educational Director for the DPCD.

Vicki is a member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, past president of the Pere Marquette Kennel Club, director for the Muskegon Kennel Club and member of the DPCD and White River Dog Training Group (WRDTG). She was editor for the WRDTG's newsletter, Paws and Reflect, for 4 years, and has taught puppy and beginners obedience classes for the Group. She offers private instruction and has worked with both hearing and sight impaired dogs.
