*Barrett A'la Michele

I love wearing barretts in my hair, but couldn't find ones in the colors I like, so I put together these barretts and ponytail holders--MS
MATERIAL:
Sugar & Cream cotton (worsted weight)
large spring barrett (the kind that comes apart)
Aluminium E crochet hook

DIRECTIONS:
Rnd 1: Single crochet around the barrett until full (about 18 sc)

Rnd 2: ch3, 2dc in same sc, 2dc in each sc across working in one loop only

2nd half of Rnd 2: 3dc in end, 2dc in each sc back to beginning (working in the loop that was left)

Finish off by tucking in ends (a touch of hot glue or tacky glue if needed)

Ponytail holder is done in the same manner
